What is WIFI?

WIFI is a place where both passionate film professionals and aspiring filmmaking newbies can connect and share both insight and expertise with each other. It's meant to be a place where members from any aspect of film can create an exciting atmosphere of artistic freedom accessible to everyone, which will ultimately become an integral part of Wellington's Film Community.

But it's much more than that,

It's a place where WRITERS find DIRECTORS who need ACTORS who are in contact with PRODUCERS who meet EDITORS who... (you get the picture).

As independent artists, we often have to wear several different hats. And, while some may fit, others... may not.

That's where WIFI comes in.

By having everyone who wants to be involved in filmmaking in one easy to navigate network, members are able to discover creative individuals from a wide variety of film backgrounds who could be just around the corner.

Most of all,

WIFI is a place where people can develop creative partnerships with other Wellingtonians with an emphasis on developing wickedly awesome films.
